On the countdown to my newest nephews arrival in 5 weeks.
I'm crocheting him a waffle cot blanket to keep him warm in chilly Goulburn.
He will be my 14th niece/nephew but hopefully not the last.
Kootoyoo has a mountain of creative spaces, check it out. x
love the texture here...and my goodness 14!! sounds like your family is creating a small army ;o)
ReplyDeleteI am sure that blankie will go down a treat! love stitch markers, I have a set of turquoise bead ones esp for knitting in the round that I love to peices. -I love Prudence's work too, I've seen some on ehxibition - have you done a workshop?
ReplyDeleteoooh, this looks absolutely lovely, beautiful colours!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours. He'll be nice and warm - even in Goulburn.
ReplyDeleteWOW what a lucky little bubba. Have you made a blanket for each and every niece and nephew? That's a lot of crocheting.
ReplyDeleteI like the blanket a lot. Nice colors and texture. New babies are awesome!
ReplyDeletelucky little man, what a beautiful gift. it is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI just love the feel of it, soft and firm yet a little bit spongie. If that sweet baby doesn't love it, send it next door, I am POSITIVE that someone there will love it. ; )
ReplyDeletewow - impressively fertile family there :)
ReplyDeleteI've got 3 nieces and a nephew, and sadly, there will be no more. BUT I have a 2nd cousin due any day now.
Nothing like a new baby to bring joy to the family! The precious little one will sure need that lovely blanket in Goulburn.
wow. your crochet must be tight. mine has holes where yours looks pristine and perfect. love love the colors of your line.xx
ReplyDeleteThat looks *really* lovely. I haven't the faintest idea of how to crochet, so I am doubly admiring of people who do it so well!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Luckily little guy.
ReplyDeleteSo does that mean this is your 14th gorgeous blanket?
ReplyDeleteHaha, no way, i only got in touch with my inner crafter 2 and a half years ago. before that i only made clothes. I'm only doing it for the newbies, my elders Nephew is 23 yrs. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you today. I can see this blankie is much bigger than this already, so you've been working hard!
