This week I'm grateful for... Time

This weekend my baby turns 5.

4 years and 9 months ago we made the conscious decision not to have any more children.

At times I've wondered if it was the right decision to make.

Now, I think it was.

Time helps us all to see with more clarity.

Over the past 10 weeks I have lost 12 kilos.

11 weeks ago I did not see this coming.

Next weekend I will run 5km in the Townsville Running Festival.

My whole life I never imagined I'd be a 'runner'.

Time changes everything... It's up to us to decide if it's for the better... or not.

See what others are Grateful for with Maxabella Loves...

  3. Kirsty it's the 12 week body transofrmation with Michelle Bridges, next round sign up is open in a few weeks. Food intake is the key, amazing how much food we eat and think is normal.

Posie, thank you for the birthday wishes, and yes i totally feel grown up and happy with our choice. It's funny how the weight just appears out of nowhere, best of luck with the gym, i've just signed up for partner pt sessions at the base gym. A terrifying thought really, but hey gotta live on the edge sometimes :)

  4. Time is such an amazing way to measure life by. How peculiar that time can 'fly so fast', yet 'drag on' depending on the task at hand. I guess it's all about perception.

Congratulations on your personal achievement of running and weight loss.

Great to connect with you on the Grateful Linky.

  5. Good work on your weight loss, it's an amzing feeling. I've been losing weight, and training to run, like you , I've never been a "runner", so it is hard but very satisfying.

  6. Great - well done you! My neighbour is doing the 12 week BT with Michelle Bridges too and is looking amazing and feeling so well. I've just started a health kick and jogging - amazed to be able to run a bit with more planned. Here's to life continuing in unexpectedly healthy directions.
